KAWS teamed up with Visionaire in celebration of M&M’s 75th anniversary to present a powerful Virtual Reality experience at the New York Public Library.
Brian Donnelly, a.k.a. KAWS, is one of the most celebrated street artists of our time. Recently he began exploring new mediums to share and experience his work. His latest collaboration at the NYPL invited his audience into the colorful world of KAWS. This VR creation starts as an ordinary visit to the artists studio and transforms into highly immersive journey of his work. Lines become objects, colors traverse space and KAWS Companions dance around at colossal scale. The atmosphere is electric and in many ways startling. All this magic takes place within VR goggles. The work itself proves that VR will have a presence in the art world for years to come.
