The latest West Village transformation takes place at 275 West 10th Street. The Naftali Group converted a Romanesque Revival warehouse into 38 beautiful luxury condominiums. Celebrating the existing façade made it easy for The Shephard to gracefully welcome itself into the neighborhood.
A lovely lobby and wonderful garden was conceived to incorporate the historic carriage house into the building. The building boasts a series of luxurious amenities – featuring basketball courts, a Pilates studio, a golf simulator and a rock climbing wall. It also contains a library curated by the world renown Assouline.

Gachot Studios revived the building’s interior with tremendous creative flare. The interior design is elegant and rich, using only the finest & most beautiful materials to accentuate each space. One of the most powerful elements is the vaulted ceilings. The vaults move with rhythm in and out of each space, offering character to the Shephard that won’t be found anywhere else in New York.
Miki Naftali and DuJour’s Jason Binn hosted a soirée for the grand opening of the gorgeous garden space. Guests of the event enjoyed cocktails and live music as they toured the model apartment of The Shephard. The images below just begin to capture the feelings of luxury fostered by thoughtful design at The Shephard.
